  Mel was awesome, make sure to ask for her! The onion ring basket was huge and the freshest seafood! Got the clam and bay scallops, they were delicious!

  Always great food, service is always friendly! Capt. Dan makes you feel like you're a friend, instead of a customer. We eat here often and have always had a great experience.

  Dan's clam stand is the greatest most friendly family style restaurant probably in the state of Florida definitely in Crystal River. Dan himself is always on hand and is a very friendly person. I have seen him go out of his way for customers when he doesn't have to. the food is nothing less than fantastic many items from New England such as Maine Lobster, haddock, and cod just to mention a few. Everything is done to perfection and in a timely manner. Portions are wonderful. And the tiki hut out of front it is nothing less than spectacular. Sitting under there is a vacation in itself...

  We loved the food. I had fried clams, New england clam chowder, which was off the chain. George had boiled shrimp, they were large. We had New England steamers. Enjoyed it all the way around
